Healthy Green Smoothie

‘Every morning at our school in Guatemala we prepare green smoothies like this for our students’


  • 1 cup of fruit, fresh or frozen (banana, mixed berries, pineapple, etc.)

  • 1 cup of a selection of fresh greens (spinach, kale, mint, parsley, etc)

  • 1/2 – 1 cup of milk (almond, soy, coconut, cows’, etc.)

  • 1/2 tablespoon ground seeds (flax, chia, etc.)

  • A few slices of fresh ginger.


  • Starting with 1/2 cup of milk, place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  • You can add more milk, depending on how thick you want your smoothie.

Final Words It’s delicious and … soooo healthy!
