A wonderful, simple and tasty recipe.
4 or 5 apples, peeled and sliced
Sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle over the apples
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
3/4 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of flour
1 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
- Peel and core the apples, slide into an 8 or 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Beat eggs, oil and sugar, add flour and baking powder and salt. Mix well. Pour batter over the apples.
- (Optional: sprinkle with nuts.)
- Bake at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes, or ‘until a toothpick is clean’.
